Biography
I started working at the firm as a planning paralegal in late June of 2022. Before working for Franke Beckett, I worked as an estate planning paralegal for another attorney. I find the field intriguing, and I like that the work I do feels very community-based.
The firm that I used to work at was smaller than Franke Beckett. It consisted of me, one other paralegal, and one attorney. We were able to assist clients in a very detailed manner, understand their needs and wants, and do thorough work for our clients. At Franke Beckett, I feel the same way about the work we provide. It is nice to know that a larger firm approaches client work with the same focus. The work we do is important to each client and attention to detail is important. We have an understanding that each client has a unique set of circumstances that requires this attention to detail. The firm is very teamwork-based, which I believe is a very important part of getting all the important details about what is important to the clients and their planning.
I graduated from Anne Arundel Community College in 2019 with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies and in 2021 I graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor’s degree in Policy, Politics, and International Affairs. I’ve lived in the Annapolis area my whole life and have always wanted to work in a field where I feel like I am helping the community. I originally was not planning on pursuing a career in the legal profession. I originally thought that I would attend art school and then work as a freelance artist. What made me realize that I wanted to pursue this career was the fact that I wanted to be able to help others. I wanted to make an impact on the community at large.
